Journeys End(ish)

Hello all! Thanks for joining me! I quickly want to take a moment to explain my vision for this project.

In the last five(ish) years, I’ve had several opportunities to travel. Some of those were short trips and some of my travel occurred while I had the privilege of living abroad. The experiences I had while outside of the States were remarkable and more endearing than I can say. Unfortunately, I was pretty bad at sharing a lot of those experiences with many of you.

I should apologise to those of you who asked for details or to talk about my travel, but my trips were so new and fresh that they felt very much at the forefront of my mind and I didn’t quite have the grasp to describe them. So, talking about them felt exhausting (…and I was a little selfish about wanting to keep those experiences to myself for little while).

Now that I am back in the States for the moment, I finally feel more able to put those experiences into words and ready to share the good, bad, and hilarious parts of my trips.

These posts will include a series of things that went wrong with different trips, a lot of good things that went well on trips, some of my favourite things about travel, favourite places, etc.

Many thanks and much love to all my dear friends who made the journey(s) with me!
